Ten on Ten {November}

Hey all! It's that time of the month again where I am sharing 10 pictures on the 10th of the month. These pics reflect my life as of current. I'd love for you to link up as well and share 10 on 10 over on your blogs as well!

For my last few pictures, I am excited to share our newly re-modeled living room, done by my amazing sister-in-law who has her own home styling business called home.style.heart. If you are local (Rochester, NY) and are looking for a stylist, you MUST check her out. I know she is my sister-in-law and all, but she is one talented lady who can take your vision and make it a reality! Here are some before and after shots. We are sooo happy with it. The photos are taken from my phone, so they are not the greatest quality, but it is so lovely in real life!

Two Last Minute Veteran's Day Games

Another Monday here again! Today I wanted to pop in quickly to share two last minute Veteran Day resources that you can use this week with your kiddos. They are easy to prep and fun to play and available ONLY here on the blog {for FREE!}!

The first game can be used any way you want, really. They are just letter tiles that you can cut out and have students unscramble the letter tiles to create a patriotic word. There are a total of 9 words.

Place them at a word work station along with the recording sheet and have your kiddos write patriotic sentences for each word.

The second game is a little spin on the classic "Battleship" game. Simply click on the pic below to download for the full set of directions.

Halloween Games for the Classroom

Look!

Can you guess what I am going to be for Halloween? My husband, and two of our friends are running a 5K on Halloween and it's a costume run, so we are going to be minions! We made these shirts this weekend, and I love how they turned out! There may or may not be a blue tutu to go with it :) I'm NOT crafty at all, so this was a win.

I love these teacher ideas for Halloween costumes, so in case you haven't decided yet, you may find a fun idea here!

All you have to do is create words that you want your students to figure out using the alphabet key. You can do Halloween themed words, regular vocabulary words, or a word that might help introduce a lesson.
